We're absolutely thrilled for Ríoghnach Connolly who won Folk Singer of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards last night in Manchester. A hugely deserved accolade for one of the finest singers Ulster has ever produced. We're delighted to say that Ríoghnach will feature on our forthcoming record which will be released in the spring. We’re saddened to hear of the passing of the brilliant Belfast poet Ciaran Carson. Ciaran very kindly gave us permission to use his translation of the 9th century poem Lon Dubh Loch Lao which we recorded on the album ‘A note Let Go’ with Duke Special.
